We operate a strict zero-logs policy: no browsing history, no traffic content, no DNS queries, no IP addresses, no connection timestamps, no session durations, and no per-session bandwidth records. Any transient operational data is deleted automatically within minutes of your session ending. The full policy is published in plain language on our Privacy Policy page.
In most countries, yes. A small number of jurisdictions restrict or prohibit proxy use, and you are responsible for following the law wherever you connect. Our Acceptable Use Policy, part of the Terms of Service, spells out what the service may and may not be used for.
Every encrypted tunnel adds some overhead, but Velo Proxy uses WireGuard and an optimized server network to keep it minimal. On fiber or 5G, most people notice less than a 10% difference — and on hostile public Wi-Fi, the tunnel often makes connections more stable rather than slower.

If the proxy tunnel drops unexpectedly — a train enters a tunnel, Wi-Fi hands off to mobile data — the kill switch blocks your internet traffic instead of letting it fall back to your regular, unprotected connection. When the tunnel is back, traffic resumes automatically.
